About

Katharine Roth practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and appellate law. She began her career as a state prosecutor in Jacksonville, trying cases to juries. She then served as a Federal judicial clerk to the Honorable Patricia D. Barksdale in the Middle District of Florida for four years.

Katharine focuses her practice on complex civil matters, including contracts, business torts and constitutional law.

Katharine obtained her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2013, where she served on the Moot Court Board and was an editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law. Her other experience during law school included working as a research assistant for a professor, working as a judicial intern for a United States District Judge in Nashville, and working for the in-house counsel department of Country Music Television.

She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Florida in 2010, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.

Katharine is admitted to practice in the Middle, Northern and Southern Districts and is a member of the Jacksonville Federal Bar Association and a Barrister of the Chester Bedell Inn of Court.
